To answer your question---
Replying to the blog. I will guide you though in steps.

Scroll to the end of this message.

1. You will see dialogue that looks like this --"Posted by Catherine at 9:51 AM 0Comments"
2. On this line you will also see the icon of a little envelope with a black arrow in it
3. Gentle guide your mouse icon over the envelope
4. Hold still for a moment and you will see a little box appear that says "Email Post" This means that you can choose to send an email and your comments will only be seen by the person receiving the email.
5. A page appears that allows you to send an email to the "friend" you choose.
6. Note that your message can only be 300 characters
7. Also note "This feature is not to be used for advertising or excessive self-promotion."
8. Side Bar: In an extended family that has issues with self esteem going back into the misty generations of the past, I think a little "excessive self-promotion" may be a good thing. IMO[in my opinion]

Next: Maybe you want to leave a comment for all the blogs dear readers to enjoy. I think this is best. IMO it is fun to read blogs but I would dearly love to make comments to the author. I mean how wonderful would it be to exchange emails and comments with Shakespeare or Charles Dickens or JK Rowlings?

1. Put your cursor over the word "comments" at the end of the blog
2. You will see that it turns red. Click on that
3. A window will appear that has a dialogue box on the right
4. Type your comments in the box
5. Choose your identity--Since you don't have a blog of your own, or an identity you need to click on the "anonymous" box
6. You will also have to do a "word verification". The instructionas are to type in the characters you see above the box. This is a safety feature--I guess to filter out advitixors and other guilty of "excessive self-promotion"
7. After all of this you can publish your post--your words are forever out of your control
8. Or you can preview your post
