St. Thomas

A delightful little Island. St. Thomas is owned by the United States and has a very "American" cultural quality about it. I decided to take advantage of the balcony view today after I checked that the dock was on starboard side. We are on port side, aft cabin on the 14th deck.

So this was my view for the day. Delightful.
This a view of the harbor as we left the Island about 6PM. My camera is new to me. It's supposed to have an image stabilization feature built in. Guess I need to read the manual and figure out where it is.
John Cardinal was our cocktail hour speaker this evening. What a knowledgable, nice gentleman. Take some time to wander around his web site. I wish he had some pictures on the home page. He is one of the giants among giants on this genealogy cruise.
