Jewel of the Sea Day 6

Sea Day! I was so looking forward to spending the day in the solarium, reading, dipping in the pool or hot tub. The sea was a lovely blue the sky was clear, the sun was hot. Perfect…….except the sea had gentle rolling swells from 12 to 15 feet. This means the ship was gently rocking back and forth all day. A majority of guests were in their rooms seasick. I did get a bit woozy myself but went top side and looked at the horizon, breathed fresh air. Oen of the staff brought me some apples slices and soon I perfectly fine. The apple thing is a cure the crew uses!!?!?!? Hey if it works. The pools were closed as the water was massively sloshing back and forth out of the pools. The staff finally emptied most of the water out of the pools to cut down the water on the deck which was a fall hazard.

The ships entertainment was pretty lame so I hung out in our favorite lounge with a few of the folks we have become friendly with. All in all it was a lovely relaxing day at sea.
